Write on the Tyne

New funding for My North Tyneside

I was delighted to receive some funding late last year from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The secured funding is for a year-long, intergenerational project around history and experiences of North Tyneside.

Write on the Tyne will be delivering a number of sessions to get people involved to share memories of childhood, culture, community, industry, technology, food, and much more! We want your anecdotes, experiences, and photographs.

During the last two months of the project, the pieces will go on tour around the area, including local libraries and places of cultural significance, for all to see before being archived as part of history forever.
