With thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund, the courses are connecting women, allowing them to develop their creative expression, and tell their story! • L.A. Interview

It was amazing to feature in California based publication, Shoutout SoCal. I got the opportunity to talk all things, Write on the Tyne, as well as chat about my published books. • Veterans’ Voices anthology developments

The Veterans’ Voices book is progressing, with accounts from the wonderful heroes at Operation Veteran. We are scheduled to publish in early November, for a launch on 8th November at Newcastle Library (all welcome). The interviews have been so diverse, emotional and an absolute privilege to document.

  • Veterans’ Voices Project – Interviews

The collection of our local heroes stories is well underway for the anthology Write on the Tyne will produce, in partnership with Operation Veteran, North Tyneside. Listening to the veterans tell their accounts of their time in the military is moving and a complete honour. I’m so excited to see the final book!

  • Writing for Wellbeing

Over the last month, I have been teaching my Writing for Wellbeing course to learners who are in substance recovery. This has been through the brilliant Recovery Connections and almost 40 learners have attended, engaged, inspired one another and inspired me. Wonderful, soul nourishing work.

Today was a bittersweet day as it was the last session of the Intro to Creative Writing course with the brilliant Thrivers group in North Tyneside.
