Write on the Tyne is available for commissioned work. This may include a project for your organisation to produce and showcase some written content.
Commissions
Veterans’ Voices – An anthology documenting the story of 22 veterans, with local C.I.C, Operation Veteran was published in November 2022. Write on the Tyne and our local heroes accessing Operation Veteran will be involved in events across the North East to showcase the book.

Walking in the Footsteps of Walker Women – Write on the Tyne are working with Pottery Bank Community Centre to explore and document the voices of the women of Walker and Byker, through a Heritage Lottery programme.

Current grant funded projects
Write on the Tyne have a year long project called The Power of the Pen. With thanks to funding by The National Lottery Community Fund, WOTT will be delivering a series of four-week training around writing for wellbeing. This service is for women in Northumberland, North Tyneside, and Newcastle.
