With thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the My North Tyneside project received over eighty pieces from residents of North Tyneside. Aged between ten and early nineties, the story-holders submitted some incredible poems and prose about our borough, along with some brilliant photos.
The collection is now on tour, before it will be published here and sent to The National Lottery.
Go and check out all the wonderful pieces, perhaps including your own. I hope they make you smile and laugh, and think about your own memories and the heritage of our magnificent area.
