At Write on the Tyne, we understand how exciting yet daunting it can be once you’ve drafted your poetry, short story, or book. Congratulations on getting this far, now it’s time to get your work out into the world! Write on the Tyne can provide support, guidance and services to ensure that your journey to publication is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We are available to assist with the following service:

Writing coaching – all sessions are conducted via Zoom – £70 per session (one hour per session). Bespoke mentoring may include writing critique, tips, guidance on developing your work, possible submission / competition opportunities, and publishing options. All learners receive a SMART plan. All sessions are conducted via Zoom. Support outside of sessions (such as reading and research) will incur further charges.

Manuscript / story critique – £50 (up to 10,000 words). £5 per 1,000 words following. Book critique will include one full read with a detailed report of feedback including character development, plot, pacing, conflict and resolution, dialogue, show don’t tell / body language, descriptors, and use of language. This price does not include editing services.
